Ketamin

Other designations: K, Keta, Special K, etc.

Ketamine is an anesthetic and analgesic used in emergency and veterinary medicine. It has a sedative and analgesic effect and can cause a perceived disconnection of mind and body. Communication may be difficult and hallucinations may occur. Mixed use with alcohol or other “downers,” such as opiates or benzodiazepines, dramatically increases the likelihood of respiratory paralysis.
